CAMAGÜEY - The students of the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz also wait for Sunday as a day of support for the Homeland and of support for the Constitution that with the popular participation we construct.

One of the first opinions was given by Sandra Sierra Sardiñas, student of Journalism of 2nd. year, “I, as Cuban and as a university student, this Sunday will vote for the Yes of the Constitution because we are the heirs of the Revolution, we must continue the legacy of our heroes. The Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, always declared us as the future of the Homeland, as the defenders of our independence; he warned that we would be who would fight against the new changes and transformations of the sciences and the technology that happened in the developed countries. This is the guide for the future of the Cuban people”.

Elisbet Cadogan Díaz, student of Industrial Engineering:

“I will vote for the Yes to ratify the new Constitution, this is the way of continuing the struggle in our people for Cuba, for the sovereignty, for my family, for our guarantees and for our future. This will be the demonstration of the people of Cuba to the empire that even intensifying its aggressiveness against the governments of Latin America, as it happens today in Venezuela, we will be still firm to continue with our sovereignty”.

Diego Armando Guerra Silva, student of Mechanical Engineering:

“Today as my university brothers, I will reaffirm my support to the Constitution through my Yes because this one has given to the Cuban people the leading role to discuss the Constitutional Referendum that will reflect the future of our country and the guarantees that we Cubans have”.

Beatriz Placeres Rivero, Veterinarian's student:

“Our new Carta Magna will be provided with my positive and real vote because it will be the official witness of sovereignty, independence and unit of the Cuban people, will guarantee the calmness for the citizens, beyond their sexual, ethnic and religious determination. It is the first Constitution in which the people has had the opportunity to express their opinions to add, to eliminate or to modify its articles”.
