CAMAGÜEY- In the early hours of the morning of this Friday February 15, the men and women who work at the headquarters of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba expressed their signature to speak for peace and non-aggression against Venezuela, in a sample of unconditional solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution, its people and its president, Nicolás Maduro.

Barbara Marqueti said that "today we signed for the ties of friendship between Cuba and Venezuela, which are two friendly countries, as were Chávez and our Fidel. Today we are signing to condemn the interference of the United States government in the internal affairs of that nation."

As Yuneisy Ramos commented to Adelante Digital "we have supported Venezuela in other important moments of its Revolution, for example with medical, educational, cultural and sporting collaborations. Now we cannot do less than sympathize with its people and its government. I am proud of signing with my co-workers to avoid a military aggression to that nation.“

For Oscar Sanamé: "The Camagüey´s people today sign in solidarity with Venezuela, with our love to avoid war," he said.

The signatures that are collected today from Cuba represent a call to the American people to persuade their government not to try to put their hands of the South American country, where the self-proclaimed President Juan Guaidó and his alleged "humanitarian aid" serve as an excuse for aggression.

The Cuban popular campaign to collect signatures will be extended until February 20 in communities, workplaces and schools.
