SANTA CRUZ DEL SUR, CAMAGÜEY.- Having as premise the solidarity that always characterizes the Cuban people, the Santa Cruz’s inhabitants put into practice this principle with the delivery of donations for the victims of the tornado that hit Havana on January 27.

With the aim of contributing to the recovery of the affected areas and helping to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Cuban capital who suffered the scourge of the meteorological phenomenon, the Santa Cruz’s inhabitants sent more than 1 000 articles among them clothes, mosquito nets, Toys, school uniforms, household supplies, food and hygiene products.

Workers of entities such as the Popular Power Assembly, Aqueduct, Fishing Company, Local Industries, the Municipal Hospital, the Telecommunications Center, Education, Health, the INDER, Community, Roads, Economic Planning and the Office of Statistics and Information, were those who contributed products for these people in need.

With this gesture the children of this land sympathize with their Havana’s brothers, who also helped this town after the passage of Hurricane Paloma in 2008 and today are with them with a sincere contribution and highlighting the slogan of #FuerzaHabana.
