CAMAGÜEY. – The 12th National Congress of Pharmacology will take place in Camagüey from October 22 to the 25th, in the Center of Conventions Santa Cecilia, and will receive 150 delegates of 12 provinces of Cuba.
Dr. C José Luis Cadenas Freixas, Director of the Provincial Council of Scientific Societies of the Health in Camagüey, announced that there will be tackled topics related to the Natural and Traditional Medicine (MNT), the Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Trials, the Preclinical Pharmacology, the Pharmaco-epidemiology and Pharmaceutical Attention.
The appointment will be an opportunity to tackle the challenges and perspectives of development of a vital science for the sake of the therapeutics, always under the prescript of using the medicines of a rational way, prepared of its suitable prescription, the excellent education of the knowledge on this matter in the diverse levels, united everything to the investigation that propitiates the search of new medicines, the improvement of the already known ones and that are more effective and sure, as well as the identification of new therapeutic wise moves in illnesses that still constitute problems of health as the cancer.
With a view to these intentions, the event will dedicate the first day for the courses before to the Congress, where the professionals of the Health will do presentations on the MNT and the updates of the pharmacological therapy in gynecology, dermatology and acute and chronic pain.
