CAMAGÜEY. - As recognition to their out-standing work in favor of the Revolution and the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), 58 Camagüey´s women signed today the Book of Honor of the Camagüey´s woman.

Representatives of all the sectors of the society, including not state workers, housewives and senior citizens, received the homage of the women's organization founded in 1960.

The act there took place in the Lounge of Protocol of the Square of the Biggest Revolution General Ignacio Agramonte y Loynaz, of this city, where the Camagüey´s athletes Jessica Ortiz y Arlettis Tirse - members of the Cuban team of Hockey on lawn that conquered the gold in the Central Americans of Barranquilla 2018 - initiated the signature of the Book of Honor, simultaneously that were recognized by the Union of Communist Young people and the FMC.

Integral ElL of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and the first secretary in the province, Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca, presided at the ceremony of delivery of the Distinction On August 23 to a score of females, between whom the deputy was to the National Assembly of the Power Popular (Parliament) for the municipality of Sibanicú, Yaramís Armenteros Medina, general manager of the Company of Whey and Products Hemoderivados Adalberto Pesant.

This is the most important stimulus that the FMC grants those who from different social spheres realize a well-known work and, also, they take part of active form in the tasks of this organization from the base.

The provincial act for the anniversary 58 of the Federation of Cuban Women will take place tomorrow on Wednesday, in the municipality of Saw of Cubitas, avant-garde in the provincial emulation.
