CAMAGÜEY.- To strengthen the work in the communities and the exchange with the workers of the not state sector and to keep on adding up young people to the activities of the organization, stand out among the challenges of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in this province, prominent in the country by its chore in the last calendar.

Anielka Fernández del Monte, general secretary of the FMC in Camagüey, who argued the importance of the social work in the quarters, from the debate concerning interest topics as the pregnancy in the adolescence, the addictions and the violence intra-familiar, affirmed it to the press.

Fernández del Monte emphasized the success in places where the relation family - school-community works well and the work that they develop with the National Association of Small Farmers and she referred to the need for attention to women who remain in penitentiary centers.

She highlighted the chore of the houses of orientation to the woman and the family where in addition to the advices there are offered courses of hairdressing salon, makeup and gastronomic services that summoned more than 2 000 young people in the first semester of this year.

The also deputy to the National Assembly of the Popular Power indicated the municipalities most outstanding in the works of the organization: Minas, Guáimaro, Vertientes and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, in addition to Sierra de Cubitas, where the provincial act will take place on the 22nd for the 58th anniversary of the FMC.

In the week, federated from Camagüey, Florida and Sierra de Cubitas they exhibited in the provincial meeting of creative women With the magic of my hands. In the Technological Forest of the provincial head, workers, housewives and senior citizens made a show of their talent, fundamentally in the handcraft and the culinary art.

Of the score of exhibitions of the appointment, five were recognized like excellent; another five oustanding, and two received mentions.
