CAMAGÜEY.- The branches in this province from the Cultural Society José Martí (SCJM, Spanish Acronym) and from the Union of Cuban Historians (Unhic, Spanish Acronym) propose options meant for the recreation and cultivation of knowledge in this summer that will be headquartered in the House of Memories, located on Pobre Street, corner Triana.

With the encounter of projects linked to the Martí institution on July 17^th at ten in the morning, the participants appreciated the talent of the young people from “La Andariega”, “Revivir”, “Colibí” and “Fantasibarro” who will socialize their doing with songs, poetry and the exposition of art pieces.

This very space was also the place to award the winners of the children contest “Fidel, una vida, una obra y un ejemplo” in honor to July 26^th and the 90^th birthday of the Historic Leader of the Cuban Revolution.

As some of the other summer options, one the most relevant events is the show “Como el arroyo de la sierra”, that is already hosting elderly people for an exchange about Martí´s texts that reflect about how to make life more useful and pleasant for the elderly at home and in the community. The date is for 10 am on the first and second Wednesdays of the summer months.

Those interested in rediscover and deepen in the homeland events will be able to do so in the “Encuentro con la historia”, the third Wednesday of July at 4:30pm, the results of the investigations and teaching experiences presented in the Project Histo Camagüey. The visit to historical sites will be a part of the activities that will develop simultaneously in this space.

There will be opportunities to talk about music in the program of the House of Memories. Through the “Tarde de Conciertos”, the audience will closet o the values of the Cuban, Latin-American and Caribbean songs on the fourth Thursday of every month at four in the afternoon.
