CAMAGÜEY.- The sixth graduation of the mid level course in teaching careers in the University of Camagüey “Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz” is formed by 39 young people, who received their degree by the hands of their professors and family.

The graduates, coming from the modalities of Preschool Education, Biology-Geography, History and Civic Education, Spanish-Literature, Foreign Language and Crafting-Informatics, will be able to course their degree in this higher education center from September.

In the meeting, carried out in the Mendive Hall in the José Martí campus, the best among the graduates in each kind of training course were awarded, as well as the most outstanding students in sports, culture, work practice and the work within the Teaching Contingent “Leonela Relys Díaz”.

The Dr.C Santiago Lajes Choy, university principal, congratulated the future college students for fulfilling this first culmination of studies and invited them to reflect on the importance of starting the Higher Education to become better teachers and human beings.

According to the Department of Planning, Statistics and System of Information of the UC, this 39 young people add 552 graduates to the Mid Level Course in Teaching Careers since it began in the academic year 2011-2012 in the former Teaching Institute José Martí.
