To the educational system of the whole province there will join the 494 graduates of the specialties of Elementary, Special and Preschool Education, which today wraped up four years of academic preparation. The Master in Sciences and Director of the academic institution, Idalberto Reyes Porro, showed the high responsibility that this pedagogues' new army has in the formation of the children of the province and recognized also the role of the cloister of teachers and of the family in the formation of these professionals.

Since it is traditional in these commemorations, the best graduates received special recognitions and those students highlighted in the Culture, Sport, Labor Practices and Teaching fields. The teacher of primary Dianne de la Caridad Suárez Almanares was selected the best graduated, who, on having read the commitment of the new batch, convened her partners of studies to be formers of worthy Cuban.

There were also homaged teachers of several generations like Alejandro Saavedra Figueredo, Leonardo García Hernández, Enrique Soler Guzmán and Rogelio Cores Source, founders of this center.

The ceremony, that has the presence of Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province and Isabel González Cárdenas president of the Government in the province, was a homage to the 112th anniversary of Nicolás Guillén, the Cuban national poet; with excellent interpretations of his poems, like Canción del Bongó and Como si fuera la primavera.

The Camagüeyan graduation was dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the foundation of the ancient Villa de Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe, the 112th of the birthday of Nicolás Guillén and the 61st of the Assaults to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons.

The installation that between 1975 and 1992 acted as a Forming School of Primary Teachers and then it was destined for the instructors' art preparation, revived its initial functions since September, 2010. At present the center, which is the biggest of its type in Cuba, is provided with four units of study and an enrollment of 2 365 pupils, from the thirteen municipalities of the province.
