WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES.- (Prensa Latina) Cuban migrants in the United States, associated to the Marti Alliance, paid tribute in Miami to the iconic revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro, who passed away on November 25.

Leaders of several organizations that make up the coalition spoke at the ceremony held last night in which they extolled the relevant role Fidel played in the history of the Caribbean.

Journalist Max Lesnik, director of Miami Radio and a delegate at the Marti Alliance, said that most of the Cubans residing in the U.S.A. felt a deep grief for the death of Cuba's undeniable leader, true defender of the Cuban independence and a stalwart of the Nation.

The Marti Alliance is an umbrella of organizations that includes the Antonio Maceo Brigade, the Jose Marti Association, the Alliance of the Workers of the Cuban Community and the Association of Christian Women in Defense of the Family.

Among other organizations making up the Alliance are the Miami Bolivarian Club and the Club of Ibero-American Intelectual and Artists.
