Sponsored by the Folkloric Ballet of Camagüey and the Provincial Council of Performing Arts, the contest will be provided with the presence of groups from other provinces of the country among which highlight the feminine group Obbiní Batá, the National Folkloric Ballet, the Folkloric Ballet Babul and Danza Libre from Guantánamo.

Also will take part the "Folkloric" of Camagüey, the Ballet of Camagüey, the theatrical company La Andariega, Rumbatá, Maraguán, the groups Caidije and Bonito Patuá, Endedans, Desandann, and other groups that integrate the best of the local art.

During the celebration of the festival, the Award Olorum 2015 will be delivered to the teacher Manolo Micler, director of the National Folkloric Ballet, in addition to the Distinctions Aché and other recognitions. Also theoretical sessions will be developed in the Cultural Management Center of the Office of the Historian of the City (OHCC), magisterial conferences on the Cuban folklore, and a casino dance competition on Saturday 25th in El Gallo Square for all the interested parties.

Until next April 26th, the Principal Theater of this city, the Theater of the Academy Vicentina de la Torre and the principal Camagüeyan squares and streets will turn into indisputable stages of the folk dance.
