CAMAGÜEY. - The Ballet of Camagüey will offer four premieres in its program concert foreseen for the February 7th, 8th and 9th in the Principal Theater of this city, concerning the Camagüey´s Week of Culture.

There will interpret Esmeralda (grand pas of Feurs) and Street of Tango, of Norbe del Risco, artistic director of the Ballet of Kentucky, United States; Reminiscece and Divenire, of the professor Roberto Sifontes, in addition to Spring Waters, of Assafev Messerer, of the repertoire of the Ballet of Camagüey.

The main roles will be interpreted by the invited artist Kelsey Van Tine, the first ballet dancers Rosa María Armengol and Yanni García, the principal ballerina Sarah de Miranda, along with first figures as Elizabeth Pagés, Patricia Dieguez, Susel Alvarez, Zaida Enríquez, Jonathan Pérez, Arian Saladrigas Raúl Calzadilla and Yuniet Farrier, among others.

The first one of the functions will coincide with the last day of the Camagüey´s Week of Culture, which will initiate the 1st day, when the classic company will dance in the gala of the Revolution Square Ignacio Agramonte.

María de los Ángeles Gómez, specialist of public relations, also confirmed to Adelante Digital, the general direction as it has been habitual during three decades, in charge of the maître Regina María Balaguer delegated to the National Assembly of the People´s Power.

The Ballet of Camagüey constitutes one of the prides of this province, from its foundation on December 1st, 1967, for its artistic achievements and the figures that it has sheltered and formed.

At its 51 years, this company has more than 250 works in the repertoire, and it already deserved the Distinction for the National Culture given by the Council of the State of the Republic of Cuba, and the Order Juan Marinello, of the Ministry of Culture, among other recognition.
