CAMAGÜEY. -Lidis Lamorú insists on accompanying us in every February, just when we celebrate with more force the Town that we have, and love …

That's why in her wide program in neighborhoods and stages of more "gala" during the week of the culture, the meeting with those who cannot pull of the skirt of mom or ask to dad to enjoy it: children hospitalized in the Pediatric Hospital Eduardo Agramonte Piña could not be missed. She went to them.

It was there where María Eduarda Piedra Duvergel presented herself there as the auto-proclaimed representative of the (other) artist. María Eduarda is great, the public defined her. And I agreed. Her illness, of rare name, Crohn, and another one that they investigate, diminishes neither her happiness nor her self-assurance, much in spite of her six months of hospitable revenue. “She is the pet of the hospital”, tells me her doctor Bárbara Maité Carmenates Álvarez so that I should understand her "popularity".

And perhaps to recognize her artistic talent was why Lidis transferred the microphones for her interpretation of Los pollitos dicen (The chicks say). Talented she was, as all of she amazes. “Applauses and shouts for María Eduarda”, (another) hostess breathes.

With Luz y corazón, song that names her eighth disc, next to be released with the record company Bis Music, began the presentation that continued with other titles like El gatico Victorino, Por una sonrisa, Con la puntica de los pies, and the very much requested Don Lagartijo, among others.

“I believe that with these melodies I can transmit much light and heart, which is the best gift that I can give them”, and it seems that small Esteban Turro del Toro received much of that which to his six months of life still does not know. With the calmness that it had not discovered he attended and smiled from the lap of his mom. Or is it that he already learned the whole matter with so much care? For "Agramonte Piña", he and his mommy Yamilka took his life since he was born. Never better used the noun for both. His renal insufficiency waits for surgery for next week.

Two albums, La magia de los sueños and Por una sonrisa, Lidis offered to the hospital so that “all my kisses and my songs remain here, with you and other children who come; I always want to embrace them through my music”.
