CAMAGÜEY. - With four awards, all at the same level, Cuba is among the nations most rewarded in the International Contest of Infantile Drawing 2018, event sponsored by the World Program of Food, of the United Nations, Paolo Mattei, representative of this entity in the largest of The Antilles, affirmed in Camagüey.

The manager said that in the whole planet there were rewarded 20 drawings of the 100 that represented to different countries of the world, five envoys for the isle, what is a consequence of the cultural work that is carried out in Cuba, stood out Mattei, on having granted the important stimulus to the Camagüey´s 11-years-old girl Daniela Díaz Carmona, who for two consecutive years obtains the Award of the International Contest of Infantile Drawing that has its headquarters in Rome, Italy. The girl belongs to the group of Creation Magicolor, of the House of the Culture Amalia Simoni, of the City of the Tinajones.

Others three awards corresponded to the provinces of Pinar del Río, Holguín and Villa Clara. In the edition of 2017, Camagüey deserved two crowns of the World Program of Food.

The ceremony carried out in the Gallery Workshop Larios, was provided with a cultural spectacle led by children of the above-mentioned house of the culture and a collective exhibition with drawings of the members of the group of creation Magicolor. It was also honored the Fernando Figueredo primary school and to the House of the Culture Amalia Simoni, whose group of creation Magicolor is integrated by ten children of different levels.
