CAMAGÜEY.- Karen Rouco Sanabria, of the Academy Vicentina de la Torre, is among the teachers and advisers invited to the First International Meeting of Schools of Classic Dance, foreseen in Mexico City, from October 31 until November 4.

“I will give a methodological seminar on the repertoire and the Cuban school of ballet”, he said to Adelante concerning her first order in the exterior, where she will share with professionals of Russia, France, the United States and the host country.

Productions Escenarte organizes this meeting with the collaboration of the National Institute of Fine Arts through the National Coordination of Dance, and under the auspices of the National Fund for the Culture and the Arts of Mexico.

“I do not believe that classic ballet is going to expire. It is the base of everything and it has public. Now there are big groups. Every time they want to be inserted more to the school”, she added.

María Mercedes García Vega, director of the Vicentina, emphasized the evaluations of excellence of the classes of the young woman, who prepares the pupils of the level pass.

“The fifth year is the decisive one. The most important thing is that they achieve the technical targets and pass because that means to conquer a goal of sacrifices, of passion and of hours in the school. It is pretty how they fight for what they want”, insisted Karen.

In the Vicentina, she studied the professorial career. There she practices since then and also she canalizes her choreographic worries highlighted not long ago with the Gold Award of 22 International Contest of Ballet Academies.
