CAMAGUEY.- The 8th Comic Art Session is part of the activities program that the Culture Provincial Direction will develop in the territory during summer season, which begins next weekend in the whole country.

This event will begin on July 4th and will continue three days with the participation of cartoonists and specialists on the subject, invited from different Cuban provinces, apart from the ones of the host territory.

In addition, during July and August, this institution will also offer cinematographic assessment courses on the Cuban cinema history, as well as, creativity workshops and audiovisual culture and digital technologies encounters.

In declarations to the ACN, Seidel Toledo, Head of the Cinema Provincial Center, added that on July 11th it will be released in Camaguey the Cuban film Sergio y Serguei, whose premiere had a great reception last December during the 39 New Latin American Cinema International Festival in Havana.

He accented that Ernesto Daranas, the film director, several actors and part of the film production team will be there.

On the other hand, during July and August, professors and members of the theatrical and dance company La Andariega will impart workshops to children and teens interested in performing arts, apart from their usual presentations in different municipalities of the province.

Moreover, the Camaguey Contemporary Ballet will be dancing on July in the Avellaneda theater of this city, with the release of the play Mas alla del mar, choreographed by the Cuban-American Pedro Ruiz, which will be danced also on August in the Mella Theater of Havana.

As always, the cultural and artistic potential of Camaguey will be available once again for the locals and visitors to enjoy with friends and family.
