CAMAGÜEY.- Works by the Cuban Martha Jiménez Pérez, plastic artists resident in this city, came to London, United Kingdom, at the invitation of the Parallax Art Fair 2018.

 Paintings and ceramics integrate the digital catalog of the event, and they are available in ,parallaxaf as it has been invited to the next edition of the meeting, scheduled for July 20 to 22, 2018.

 In a message sent to Digital Adelante is that the organizers of the Parallax thanked Martha´s participation in the cultural event, and indicated the favorable reviews that her works received.

This promotional platform puts them in contact with a specialized audience without charging commissions, and it is considered to be the first with those characteristics that meant a break in the development of the art fairs.

Martha Jiménez stands out among the representatives of the contemporary visual arts in Cuba and she has received several awards, including the UNESCO, in 1997, the Monument Set of the Plaza de El Carmen (El Camen Square).

 She also excelled in the 2nd Biennial of Contemporary Vessels in Shanghai (China), she won the prize for best monumental sculpture in the 5th International Symposium of Terracotta in Eskisehir (Turkey), and the First Prize at the Biennial of Ceramics Amelia Pelaez of Installations and Projects, in Havana.
