CAMAGÜEY.- The Ballet of Camaguey is in Switzerland to start its international tour, especially with the play Carmen, which will be presented in that country and in several stages in Spain, until the beginning of February.

We have not danced yet and "have already sold out tickets for the functions in Switzerland", told to Adelante Digital Mark Kuster, representative of the NGO Camaquito that accompanies on the journey this Cuban company founded on December 1, 1967.

The orchestra Musikkollegium Winterthur, directed by the prestigious Swedish Mika Eichenholz, will interpret the music for the group led by Regina Balaguer Sanchez.

In the coliseum of Winterthur, from January 11 to 14 will include the performances of Carmen, in the version of the choreographer Peter Breuer, director of the Salzburg Landestheater, who has been awarded with the Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art, and with the German Dance Prize in 2015.

"I am very happy that the prestige of Peter Beuer - who staged in Cuba the piece- of the Ballet of Camaguey, and with a strong promotion of Camaquito we will find filled the theater of Winterthur in each function. It is up to the dancers to take advantage of this opportunity to show the world who is the Ballet of Camaguey," adds in his message Mark Kuster.
