CAMAGÜEY.- The Concert Hall José Marín Varona, unique in this Eastern city and designed as Cultural World Heritage, will reopen next week.

Despite not having been affected by hurricane Irma, the building located in the historical center of this city, will be ready to present shows in honor of the 105th anniversary of the death of one of the most prestigious Camagüey's musicians of the 19th Century.

The direction of the Provincial Music Center reported that due to the weather contingencies, the program for this weekend was transferred for Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 of September, with a repertoire with Cuban pieces interpreted by important Camagüey groups.

Since last July, the hall, belonging to the Office of the City Historian, has promoted the main groups of the country and is also integrated to educational and cultural projects with nearby educational centers.
