CAMAGÜEY.- The institutions from the field of Culture in Cuba are already broadcasting activities for the summer, and in this province they are announcing an “avalanche” for every preference, with the programming of around 10 800 activities during July and August.

Provincial events and sessions, popular parties in the municipalities of Jimaguayú, Najasa and Sierra de Cubitas; musicians´ national tours and other options, as touring heritage value places, are a call to enjoy with our families the break from studies and work, the meeting with relatives and friends that choose Camagüey among their leisure destinations.

The Hermanos Saíz Association, that gathers young artists, opened July with La Cruzada, an urban music band from Havana that has already offered two out of five concerts planned in the territory.

Since the summer will move to “The beat of the Festival”, dedicated to the World Festival of Youth and Students Sochi-2017, in every presentation you can see vibrations, with the leadership shared between the experienced ones and the lush ones.

Tamara Castillo, provincial deputy director of Culture, said to the press that “the thick of the activities will take place in the communities. We will be in parks, squares and in our institutions”.

Last July 5th, the VII Hall of ComicArt opened up gathering artists from nine provinces. It is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Cuban comic artist Juan Padrón and to the French comics.

Among the scheduled activities are the children competition Cantándole al sol in the midst of the month; the audiovisual exhibition Hieroscopia, based in Nuevitas; the Humor Day in the Teatro Principal in August; and the first Clown Convention.
