Cubans Leila Martinez and Mailen Delis became the first Cuban women’s pair to win gold on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour when reaching the title in the Aydin 1-star event, in TurkeyAccording to the contest website, they beat 2-0 (21-18 and 21-16) top-seeded Russia´s Mastikova and Dabizha, result that earned them 200 points to the world ranking.
