Camagüey City,- I have tried, unsuccessfully,  to find any logic regarding Guillermo Fariñas’ stubbornness of letting himself die, making his old mother suffer and appearing before the world’s eyes  not as a patriot but as someone who was convinced, by imperialist propaganda and internal mercenary groups, to sacrifice himself for no good reason.

Experienced doctors confirmed he has almost reached the no return limits concerning his medical condition; that is why they have asked him to quit his voluntary fast to provide him with the necessary feeding supply to keep him alive, he is already suffering a severe infection that causes fever and requires immediate attention.

Fariña’s friends encourage him by saying he is defending the fairest cause in the World; with such an attitude, they ignore the opinion of the majority of Cuban people who think they enjoy human rights that have been denied to millions of others in this unequal planet we live in.

International news agencies reports are totally biased, there has been no objectivity at all about this case: the quality of Cuban medicine, the efforts made by the medical staff to save his life as well as the cordial relationship they have kept with his family have not been mentioned.

Fariñas´ friends have been very cautious as to omit that all the nutrients used in this case or any other that requires the same treatment: amino acids, lipids and vitamins, are bought in Europe by the Cuban government.

It is no secret that many people abroad, when they see his picture reproduced in the websites, enjoy his keeping the fast. There is a humongous propaganda apparatus behind this case; and several people, there and here as well, make money out of it.

Fariñas´ friends are not so friendly after all.
