HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban national men’s soccer team traveled on Monday to Bolivia, where they will face the local national squad on Wednesday in a friendly at the Felix Capriles stadium in Cochabamba.
According to Prensa Latina news agency, this will be the first match between national soccer teams from Cuba and Bolivia and it will serve both squads a preparation for the main competitions of the year, including the FIFA World Cup 2014 preliminaries and the Olympic qualifiers.
Last week, Cuba fell twice to Jamaica during a visit to that neighboring nation. First, they lost 0-1 at the National Stadium of Kingston, and then they fell 0-3 at the Sports Complex of Montego Bay.
