Havana.- The president of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, Ricardo Alarcon, met on Monday in Havana with the president of the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), Manuel Pichardo, who pays an official visit to the Caribbean country.
At the meeting, Pichardo highlighted the importance of Cuba’s presence in all regional forums, recalling the advocacy of the organization he represents along others in the region for Cuba’s participation in the Americas Summit.
The parliamentarian leader also expressed his admiration for the heroism and altruism of the Cuban people as well as his satisfaction with his visit.
