Camagüey.- The fifteenth edition of EXPO-Camagüey will open its doors on Friday in this city, with a large range of products of textile, food, light and iron and steel industry, and the presence of important national and foreign commercial companies.
This trade fair, which be held until next Sunday, is a space where producers and merchandisers from different regions can negotiate articles such as clothes, shoes, furniture and food.
Eduardo Cueto Ible, delegated of the Chamber of Commerce in the provinces of Camaguey and Ciego de Avila, said that the most important target of the event, which will take place at the Casino Recreational and Cultural Center, is the negotiation among producers to achieve import substitution.
This will be an excellent opportunity to improve the quality of goods and identify foreign markets where Cuban companies could sell our products.
This edition will involve commercial companies from the province of Camagüey, Havana, Ciego de Avila, Las Tunas, and some countries such as Spain, Italy, the Basque Country and Guatemala.
According to Cueto Ible, these proposals have an economic impact on the revitalization of our industries.
