Camagüey, - The city of Guáimaro, located some 70 km away from the capital of the province, was selected the place to celebrate National Revelry Day in Camagüey province; this celebration is meant to commemorate the attack on Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, occurred in 1953 . The whole urban perimeter of the city, as well as the towns of Martí and Cascorro has been ornamented for the occasion.

The Culinary Association of Camagüey, trying to catch up with the current international trends, is aiming to systematize stylish cooking among its almost four thousand members; the goal is to enhance the finishing of every meal, either in a first class restaurant or in a popular one and even in our own homes.
